Preamble
The Federal Capital Territory Administration has received a credit facility from the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of Privatization Support Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Construction Works for Extension and Densification of Water Distribution System for Abuja Water Supply.
The FCT Water Board invited eligible Corporate Firms and Joint Ventures (JV) to submit Bids for the above mentioned works.
Objective of the Assignment:
Lot 1: Construction Works for Rehabilitation of Gwarinpa II District distribution network;
Lot 2 & 3: Construction Works for Extension & Rehabilitation of Nyanya and Karu Districts distribution network; and
Lot 4: Construction Works for Extension & Rehabilitation of Gwagwalada District distribution network.
Notification of Award
In accordance with Bidding Documents, Section 1: Instructions to Bidders, Clause 34.4 of the World Bank Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits by the World Bank Borrowers, May 2004, revised October 1, 2006. FCT Water Board wishes to publish the results of the Bid Evaluation for all the Lots as tabulated below:
The Contract for Lot 2 & 3 (Extension and Rehabilitation of Nyanya/Karu Districts distribution network) was awarded to MESSRS NASTON ENGINEERING NIG. LTD at the price of NGN599,931,714.80 (inclusive of taxes).
